Crimson Worm Sacrifice and Jesus Comparison
This was truly a shocking revelation for me. I should make a series out of this.

A few days ago, I came across the story of the crimson worm, and it taught me the true meaning of the word sacrifice. It made me wonder about the impossible lengths a mother would go to in order to ensure the survival of her offspring.
First, she decides to climb a tree—not an easy climb. Then she attaches herself to that tree, knowing that would be the last freedom she would ever have. No food. No water. No movement except what ensures her offspring come to life. But that is not the end of her journey. She knows that after her young are born, they will have nothing to feed on—so she becomes their food. Three days after their birth, they feed on their mother until they are strong enough to start a life of their own. And then she dies.
Does this remind you of someone? Yes—Jesus. He came to earth for the sole purpose of dying for us. To check every box, He suffered the painful burden of carrying His own cross, then died on that cross for one reason: to ensure that we, the children of God, would have salvation. He knew He would suffer and die, yet He came anyway. That is the definition of unfiltered love. Unfiltered sacrifice.
